Gruyere, Gouda, and Apple Quesadillas

If you’re looking for something a little different than the usual just cheese or even meat and cheese quesadilla, try this one out.

What You’ll Need…
(This makes 4 quesadillas)

8 Flour Tortillas
1 Cup Grated Gruyere and Gouda Cheese (Or any kind you like.)
½ Medium Granny Smith Apple (Thinly sliced.)

Pre-heat your oven to 200° so that you can keep the quesadillas warm while the others cook.

Start out by grating your cheese and slicing you apple.

Lay down a flour tortilla, sprinkle your desired amount of cheese onto the tortilla, place a layer of apples on top of the cheese, sprinkle a small amount of cheese on top of the apples, and top with a second tortilla.

Once the quesadilla is constructed place it into a dry skillet and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes before flipping. Once the quesadillas has been flipped, cook the second side for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Place the cooked quesadilla on an oven safe tray or pizza pan and place in a 200° oven to keep it warm.

Repeat the constructing and cooking processes for the additional quesadillas.

Once all of the quesadillas have been cooked remove them from the oven and cut into triangles.

Enjoy!
